The revolutionary MTI Control Center
allows users to have complete control of their facility while providing them
with a space saving design without sacrificing performance. The Control
Center consists of a 21.3" LCD touch screen monitor housed in an 18-gauge
industrial grade housing. The computer is attached to the back of the
housing. The monitor housing also has computer speakers and a microphone
included allowing the user to communicate with the MTI Intercom system
without the need for any additional components. The MTI Control Center was
also designed to be power conscious, consuming less than 1/3 of the power
consumed by a standard computer/monitor setup. By consuming less power, the
MTI Control Center is much less likely to fail due to overheating
problems.
Because the computer is mounted on the back of the monitor housing, there is no need to worry about where to mount the computer. This allows the architect/owner maximum flexibility in deciding how or where to mount the Control Center. The Control Center comes standard with a desktop stand; however, it has the flexibility to be wall mounted.
The Control Center is also much more secure than a standard computer. It does not have a CDROM or DVD-ROM drive, making it harder for unauthorized personnel to load programs or remove data. The Control Center still provides flexibility in data removal/loading through a 10/100 LAN port or four USB 2.0 ports.
