MTI acts to assist distributors and contractors in implementing and servicing our systems all over the United States and the Carribean. - A Distributor is a company that is vested heavily in the detention marketplace. These companies depend on the detention market for at least 50% of their revenue.
- The company has proven that it can support existing facilities and properly install new equipment by first working as a service contractor and then a dealer. Only when MTI is confident in the workmanship and integrity of the company are they provided a distributorship.
- The company maintains an in-house inventory of MTI parts in order to promptly meet customer demands.
- The company has proven to be stable and credible in their finances and business practices.

A MTI Dealer is much like a distributor in the sense that the company has proven to be vested in the detention market, to provide quality work and add value to a project, and has stable financial and business practices. The distinction rests in the fact that a dealer does not cover as large of a service area as an MTI distributor and is not as heavily vested in the detention market as a distributor.
Although there is a significant distinction, Dealers have shown themselves to be trustworthy in their dealings. Dealers represent MTI and the customer well.
