Certifications
Montgomery Technology, Inc. believes strongly in comforming to industry standards, and we submit to rigorous outside auditing and testing under several third-party certifying bodies. To explain in more detail the justifications for the certifications that we have pursued, please refer to this Certification Fact Sheet.
Both Tim Skipper and Patrick Skipper maintain a BICSI RCDD certification. This qualification means that they have shown significant understanding and expertise with respect to telecommunications technologies and cabling. In addition, many of our service technicians and support personnel maintain BICSI ITS certifications as well.
MTI maintains UL 508 and 294 listings for the relevant products. It is important to note that there is a significant difference in the two listings. Most PLC manufacturers maintain the UL 508 listing, but this is only relevant for lighting and motor control and does not cover door control. MTI, therefore, maintains the UL 294 certification as well, which covers door control.
MTI has been an ISO 9001 certified company since 1998. We currently maintain the ISO 9001:2015 standard. This third-party credential means that we submit regularly to external audits which test or consistency with respect to our business practices, customer service, and product quality assurance.
MTI’s Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), the 91720 Embedded Controller, implements the Nodalis Engine, which has been certified by PLCOpen to conform to the IEC-61131-3 standard for PLC programming.
